ARD Archive criteria
Generally only titles from the field of popular music (pop, rock etc.) can be sampled for the ARD Archive. All other titles from these fields, for instance:
- Classical music (german “E-Musik”)
- Audio books and audio plays
- Children’s songs
- Promo-/Interview-CDs
can be set up optionally. Regarding memberships of BVMI and VUT these, however, will not be remunerated.
In the ARD Archive only a complete product will be accepted. A product is complete, when at the least the following information is available:
- Titel and performer
- Label code and EAN
- Front cover
- Booklet, where available
- Track list, audio files and ISRC
- Author and publisher’s details
- Genre and release date
- Format
Instructions
Should the product not be complete, it will be displayed to you in the archive field with the corresponding error report.
